If your SaaS creates public-facing profiles, pages, assets or widgets for customers, include a Powered By link that drives visitors back to your landing page.
As the visitor will already have seen your product in action, conversion rates from this channel will be high.
Case study: powered by on Unicorn Platform
Unicorn Platform is a landing page builder tool. It includes a Powered By link in the footer of all landing pages built with the tool.
Alex, the founder of Unicorn Platform said: "Powered By links increases our brand awareness and sends 100s of monthly new visitors. The traffic is nice quality: 25% bounce rate, 2-3 min onsite time, and it converts well”.
See Powered by in action in the Unicorn Platform stats - the highlighted referrals are from Powered By links.
Won’t my users hate Powered By links?
Traditionally Powered By links are only added to free user accounts - they are a trade off for getting something for free. In the examples below it is possible to toggle OFF the powered by link once you have upgraded to a Pro account.
