We launched a landing page with a sign up form, then gathered sign ups by sharing the page and the idea across my social channels, fb groups, betalist, betafy, indie hackers, and couple of other forums. We started building after we had over 200 sign ups. Get your idea and future product in front of your target audience asap. Monitor interest, gather feedback about your idea, and talk to customers about their actual needs and problems in order for you to build the right solution.
